MORE ABOUT ME...

I joined Crowd Forum because:

Actually I started Crowd Forum because there was no one place where people could learn & exchange information on crowdsourcing.

My involvement with crowdsourcing is:

Years ago I read a fantastic book called "The Clutrain Manifesto". It was the basis of crowdsourcing for business. I started implementing the book's ideas at work and now I run a crowdsourcing consultancy (Microengagement) with my partner.

I think the future of crowdsourcing will be:

Software "utilities" such as Linux and PHP will pave the way for other open products. These products will enter new verticals such as consumer packaged goods and financial services. Tired of paying $5 for a tube of toothpaste, try "crowdpaste". "Junk" fees in your company's 401k putting a dent in your wallet, try "crowd----".

Tim: I met you after your MENG presentation on crowdsourcing (came in late from NJ). Is it possible to get your PowerPoint presentation to share with two clients as a means of introducing you? One is a more imminent prospect than the second. Please respond to the email address I use with MENG, wecalligaro@netscape.net.
